Session and lightning talk proposals will be reviewed by the program committee and those presenters who are selected will be notified. Please remove all identifying information before submitting your proposal so the reviewers can perform blind reviews.

Call for Panelists: Access Services and Student Success The 2025 Access Services Conference will feature a special moderated panel discussion focused on the vital role Access Services plays in student success. This discussion will explore how access services staff, operations, spaces, and services support academic achievement, retention, equity, and overall student experience. We are seeking 4–5 panelists to share their experiences and insights. Possible topics might include (but are not limited to):
  • Collaborations with other campus departments (e.g., academic success centers, advising, residence life)
  • Data collection and assessment related to student outcomes
  • Outreach and engagement efforts
  • Supporting first-generation, transfer, or underserved student populations
  • Frontline service models that empower student learning and belonging

  • To be considered, please submit a short abstract (approx. 150–250 words) describing your experience with student success initiatives in the context of Access Services, and the perspectives or practices you could bring to the panel. You may still submit a separate proposal for a full presentation — submitting to both will not impact panelist selection. This panel is not part of the blind review process and panelists will be selected by the Access Services Conference Steering Committee.

To submit a proposal for a full session, lightning session, or special topic panel, you will need to create an account in our new abstract management system.  Please contact [email protected] if you experience any issues setting up an account.
